These are also all heritage plants. Heritage plants, also known as heirloom plants, are traditional varieties that have been passed down through generations because of their valued characteristics. This means their seeds can be harvested and planted to continue to grow the true and original version of the plant. However this also means that these plants are more susceptible to disease and other issues that would not usually happen with modified plants.
